UPM SERDANG, 1 Ogos 2025 - Presiden Women Economic Forum - WEF ASEAN, YBhg. Datin Dr. (h.c.) Hartini Osman telah mengadakan kunjungan hormat bertemu Naib Canselor Universiti Putra Malaysia, YBhg. Dato' Prof. Ir. Dr. Ahmad Farhan Mohd Sadullah di Bangunan Canselori PUTRA UPM.

Kunjungan hormat ini adalah bagi menyampaikan anugerah WEF ASEAN 2025 'Leaders of the Decade' kepada beliau, di samping penerangan berkenaan dapatan serta resolusi program WEF ASEAN 2025. Turut dibincangkan adalah kerjasama strategik yang boleh dilaksanakan bersama UPM selaku rakan strategik yang telah bersama dalam program-program Yayasan Basmi Kemiskinan sejak tahun 1990.

Hadir dalam kunjungan hormat ini adalah YBhg. Dato' Dr. (h.c.) Haji Zainal Abidin Sakom (Pengerusi YBK); YBrs. Prof. Madya Dr. Mohd Mursyid Arshad (ALPA YBK merangkap Pengarah Pusat Kokurikulum dan Pembangunan Pelajar UPM); Lembaga Penasihat WEF ASEAN 2025 - Datin Dr. Norli Hj Alias, Datin Dr Hasnorliza Binti Abu Hassan, dan Puan ⁠Shikha Kedia Bharadwaj; serta En. Muhammad Sherhan Nizam Abdul Aziz (Pengurus Besar YBK).

YBK merupakan penganjur bersama program WEF ASEAN 2025 yang telah berlangsung pada 19-21 Jun 2025 yang lepas.

COURTESY VISIT BY WEF ASEAN PRESIDENT TO THE VICE-CHANCELLOR OF UNIVERSITI PUTRA MALAYSIA

UPM Serdang, 1 August 2025 – The President of the Women Economic Forum – WEF ASEAN, YBhg. Datin Dr. (h.c.) Hartini Osman, paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Putra Malaysia, YBhg. Dato' Prof. Ir. Dr. Ahmad Farhan Mohd Sadullah, at the PUTRA Chancellor's Building, UPM.

The visit was held to present the WEF ASEAN 2025 Leaders of the Decade award to him, along with a briefing on the findings and resolutions from the WEF ASEAN 2025 programme. Also discussed was the potential for strategic collaborations with UPM, a long-standing strategic partner that has been supporting the initiatives of Yayasan Basmi Kemiskinan (YBK) since 1990.

Present during the courtesy visit were YBhg. Dato' Dr. (h.c.) Haji Zainal Abidin Sakom (Chairman of YBK); YBrs. Associate Professor Dr. Mohd Mursyid Arshad (ALPA YBK and Director of the Co-Curriculum and Student Development Centre, UPM); members of the WEF ASEAN 2025 Advisory Board – Datin Dr. Norli Hj Alias, Datin Dr. Hasnorliza Binti Abu Hassan, and Ms. ⁠Shikha Kedia Bharadwaj; and Mr. Muhammad Sherhan Nizam Abdul Aziz (General Manager of YBK).

YBK was the co-organiser of the WEF ASEAN 2025 programme, which was held from 19 to 21 June 2025.
