BANGI, 27 Jun 2026 - Yayasan Basmi Kemiskinan (YBK) telah membuka reruai selaku pempamer di program Karnival Kesihatan dan Kebajikan Zon 24 yang berlangsung di IOI Galleria, Bandar Puteri Bangi.
Program anjuran Ahli Majlis Zon 24 MPKj ini turut menampilkan reruai daripada Lembaga Zakat Selangor, ICU JPM Selangor, Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat, Tabung Haji, serta pemeriksaan kesihatan oleh Pejabat Kesihatan Daerah dan National Cancer Society Malaysia dan pemeriksaan mata daripada World Vision Optics. Masyarakat setempat telah hadir seawal jam 9 pagi bagi melihat tawaran dan peluang yang boleh dimanfaatkan daripada para pempamer, di samping membeli barangan keperluan di reruai Jualan Rahmah.
Reruai YBK turut dikerumuni pengunjung untuk mengambil peluang tawaran cermin mata hitam Coca-Cola edisi terhad sebanyak 100 unit dengan mendaftar profil ringkas keluarga. Di samping itu, pengunjung turut mendapatkan maklumat berkenaan tawaran biasiswa percuma di Asrama Kasih YBK dan juga Akademi Kemahiran YBK, di samping program-program lain.
Pengurus Besar YBK, Encik Muhammad Sherhan Nizam Abdul Aziz turut bersama-sama karyawan YBK melayani pertanyaan para pengunjung. Turut hadir melawat reruai YBK adalah En. Mohd Tazley (Pegawai Khas Ahli Parlimen Hulu Langat) dan beliau adalah salah seorang penerima manfaat YBK suatu ketika dahulu.
Penyertaan YBK dalam program-program bersama komuniti ini adalah sebahagian daripada inisiatif Jelajah Sejuta Harapan YBK untuk menjodohkan agensi, NGO dan komuniti.

YBK PARTICIPATES IN THE ZONE 24 HEALTH AND WELFARE CARNIVAL
BANGI, 27 June 2026 – Yayasan Basmi Kemiskinan (YBK) participated as an exhibitor at the Zone 24 Health and Welfare Carnival, held at IOI Galleria, Bandar Puteri Bangi.
Organized by the MPKj Zone 24 Councillor, the carnival featured exhibition booths from the Selangor Zakat Board (LZS), the Selangor Implementation Coordination Unit (ICU JPM Selangor), the Department of Social Welfare (JKM), and Lembaga Tabung Haji. The event also offered free health screenings by the District Health Office and the National Cancer Society Malaysia, as well as eye examinations by World Vision Optics. Members of the local community began arriving as early as 9:00 a.m. to explore the services and opportunities offered by the exhibitors while taking advantage of the Jualan Rahmah (Affordable Sales) booths for essential household items.
The YBK booth attracted a large number of visitors who took the opportunity to receive one of 100 limited-edition Coca-Cola sunglasses by completing a simple family profile registration. Visitors also sought information on fully sponsored scholarships offered by Asrama Kasih YBK and the YBK Skills Academy (AKYBK), as well as other YBK programs and initiatives.
Mr. Muhammad Sherhan Nizam Abdul Aziz, General Manager of YBK, joined YBK staff in attending to visitors and responding to their inquiries. The YBK booth was also visited by Mr. Mohd Tazley, Special Officer to the Member of Parliament for Hulu Langat, who was himself a former beneficiary of YBK.
YBK's participation in community-based programs such as this forms part of its Jelajah Sejuta Harapan (Million Hopes Tour) initiative, which aims to foster meaningful connections between government agencies, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and local communities.
