Asrama Kasih Gesir (Shelter For Poor Children)

Asrama Kasih YBK Gesir (Shelter For Poor Children) is one more YBK’s sosio-education programme  for primary student (9 to 12 years of old). Every year we selected and accomodated at least 40 student from hardcore poor family who are potentially excell in their education.

Shelter For Poor Children (Asrama Kasih YBK Gesir) situated in one of rural area in Malaysia. It’s located about 80 kilometers from the capital city of Malaysia Kuala Lumpur, called Kg Gesir. Here we provide free accormodation and food, school expenses and pocket money for the children. The premise and the 6.5 acres land where the building built located was donated by YBK’s Chairman Dato Zainal Abidin Hj Sakom. At this moment there are 37 students (age 9 to 12 years) stayed in this Asrama Kasih Gesir and schooling at nearby primary school

The objectives of this Asrama Kasih YBK Gesir is to provide assistence to selected hardcore family to grew-up their children who has pottential to excell in their academic. Since most of potential  children living in the curcamtenses where they may have difficulties to study because of poverty of the family, YBK had provide everything such as free food and accormodation, tuition, transportation to school and good guidence for character and personal building.

Student who selected in this programme must undergone very tight processes of screen test such aptitude and attitude test, fairly good academic achievement and she or he was confirmed from hard-core poor family or ophane. Most of the student seleced were recommended by their school teacher or community leader where they lived befor shifted to here.
